ipi provides baseline Commercial Property Inspections throughout the Southern Cape to get your property ready to sell, lease or buy.
Under commercial property inspections, we include Flats, Holiday Accommodation Apartments and Hotels, B & B Establishments, Office Blocks, Workshops, Warehouses, Showrooms, Shopping Centres and Factory Premises.
A baseline commercial property inspection relies on a walk-through visual examination and survey, document review and photos as well as an Infra-red Thermo graphic Imagery inspection to determine the property’s condition – all performed by a professional ipi commercial property inspector.
This information is then arranged to form an Inspection Report. This report, compiled by an independent third party, can be used to assist prospective investors, owners, lessees and buyers in understanding operational and maintenance requirements of the property.
The scope of the inspection needed and the specific areas to be inspected, are based on various factors such as age, occupancy and type of construction. Any other determining factors on how the property will be inspected and the performance criteria needed to complete a quality inspection and report, that can be used to make a calculated and sound business decision, will be discussed in a pre-inspection meeting with the ipi inspector.
